So this is possibly the first Sunday in a long time that I have been apart from Joel. I am sad...I miss him and I miss everyone else. I don't know why it is hitting me today, but it is. It is like I go through these spurts of being fine and happy, and then another spurt of feeling down and lonely. I am really happy though for Joel because he is skiing for the first time ever!! He is up in Wisconsin with a bunch of his medical school buddies; they had a bunch of tests on Friday so they are all taking a break from the school scene. From the sounds of it, Joel is LOVING skiing and really wants to keep doing it. :) He is so stinkin cute...I love the fact that he is having so much fun and truly enjoying himself (even though I can't be with him).
This week is going to be pretty crazy for me. But I am happy because we have absolutely NOTHING planned for next weekend. That may sound boring to some people, but ever since I have been back in IL from Christmas break we have been gone every single weekend. Although it has been a BLAST...it is nice when we have a down weekend. I am excited though because I get to see my Aunt Ruth. She is coming to the Chicago-land area for a conference and I will be spending the night with her on Wednesday...we are also going to Howel (sp?) at the Moon...FUN FUN!!! :) Good stuff people...I hope everyone out there is doing well!
